At the beginning of the year we moved into a new rental, and with that rental came our own garden bed. My first year gardening was a rewarding learning experience. I had a very large, abundant zucchini plant and every day, several times a day, I would check on this plant, and I would get so excited when I would see a Bee nearby.I had thought I understood the importance of Bees, but once I started gardening I felt the direct influence of them. If they didn't come, I didn't get food to eat. When they did come, I was left with an immense feeling of gratitude. So I suppose this painting is my thank you to the Bees.
